Short    Word Order 2: subject - verb - object
When you understand the general pronunciation of Dutch and you've learned some words and made a start with the verbs it's time to begin 'building sentences,' (just by yourself: thinking, writing) — word order, sentence structure: where do the various elements in sentences go?
Read and listen to the examples below to memorize the pattern — no need to learn the lines themselves, unless they look useful to you

Add an object to the subject and verb; you could say the subject "does the verb's action" with the object
