Short    Building Sentences 19, Word Order – 'dat'  Subsentences
Read and listen to the examples below to memorize the patterns
Verbs like for instance zeggen click to hear 2 3 ('to say') – denken click to hear 2 ('to think') and weten click to hear ('to know') often combine with dat click to hear ('that') to state the thing said, thought or known. After this dat  objects and complements are placed between subject and working verb:
