An Old JokeA WWII joke notices that formerly, city mayors used to say to each other on meeting:"Kan het zijn dat ik U ken?" hear - 2 - a formal 'Have we met before?' (as you may have heard on the previous page.) But during the war, they would often say: "Ken 't zijn dat ik U kan?" - hear - showing the usually low level of education of the collaborators.
