The Dutch Way of Life as Seen in Food - 3

The Dutch no-nonsense attitude is also found in Dutch food. Dutch cuisine is not elaborate or refined. Lunch is often bread (open-faced sandwiches) with milk and/or coffee or tea, dinner is usually some meat, potatoes and vegetables. (I am not good at preparing meat so at my house we mostly have eggs instead of meat.) But there may be a nice snack at morning coffee or afternoon tea-time.
